Hurry up and wait kills me.
Yet I sense wonderful things there
in a distant, hard-won future
of a quiet and clean home
visited often by family and friends
But mine. All mine. Sacredly mine.
Until then, I've given up resentment
that absolutely nothing is mine alone.
:::: In the meantime ::::
I have these awesome people to ensure every nook and cranny of this house we call home is filled to bursting.
I may have no patience, but I have love in spades!!!
she is ADORABLE with her little backpack!
Heaven help impatient women; with you.
Yeah, one of my Mom's quotable quotes is "I'm the patient one -- give it to me RIGHT NOW!"
Yes! Away with resentment! I say! : )
So cute! I love her pose. Being a parent has taught me that nothing is mine and, just to prove that point, everything gets broken. I don't like it, but that's how it seems to be.
I know how you feel. My house is filled to the brim too. Great pictures.
The more I learn about you, the more I realize just how alike we are. And maybe that's why I like you ;-)
Patience and me are like oil and water. I continue to try to be better but there is the issue of procrastination...why do today what I can put off until tomorrow?
"Hurry up" and "wait" kill me too.
(Cannot wait to take backpack photos over here!)
Oh, they do look like you.....
filled to bursting - that's the best!
Awesome! Love the poem and pics!
Both of your kids have that look about them, like they are well-loved. What's more important than that?
Love the pics Kelly. That patience thing - still working on it.
They're so beautiful. Worth the mess, the worry, and the brimming over of stuff. In spades.
Great photos.
I lack patience too. I hate, hate, hate having to wait... but I'm learning. x
You certainly do, and they have you! What a lucky, family.
Oh, boy. Me too, my friend. Patience lacks for me, too. And I have to work and work and work at it.
Love how cute your little ones look in those shots. Your little one's pose is absolutely cute and hilarious.
They are gorgeous kiddos! Somehow, some way, we figure out how to make peace with the seemingly permanent clutter and dirty house, and looking at their smiling faces always helps, doesn't it?
