but the urge to create remains.
Be first, be best, know all...
but I can't. You can't, either.

Instead, I'll blow the best bubbles,
bask in the first slow smile
that lights up my daughter's face,
and treasure that the world turns
without any help from my hands.

What a blessing that truth is.
Trust the universe. That is awesome!
What a beautiful tree! Ours aren't quite there yet, but soon!
So sweet,Kelly ;)
Lovely Kelly. Those pics are glorious.
Nothing new, but we can remix! ;)
Or we could let go. Be.
Lovely words, thank you!
Now THIS is an awesome post from a beautiful heart. You're an amazing Mom.
Beautiful. :)
Kelly, this was SO beautiful! I love that the world turns without a single movement from our hands. I think that's one of the coolest things I've learned since starting to practice Sabbath. You just phrased it for me PERFECTLY! {Also, I didn't see your link at Alita's page ... so I linked it for you. :) }
Such hope and promise in those words and images.
Ah, THIS was lovely and a breath of fresh, true air. So thankful that I read it today :)
