In DUH news:

"New research from the University of California, Berkeley, has found that “grade schoolers with ADHD who take medications can actually improve their long-term academic achievement and make greater gains in standardized math and reading scores than students with ADHD who do not take medications.”

So glad they're finally posting good information about ADHD drugs! I've never understood why people are so against something that obviously does so much good (when someone is on the correct drug at the correct dose)!
